Mindfulness by Thai Artists Alliance, reflects an individual's inner struggle towards clarity of mind illustrated through dance. The title of the performance is derived from the Buddhist term Sa-Ti but it also alludes to the affliction of having a mind saturated with unhealthy distractions.
Will Penrose joined Lower Manhattan Cultural Council-where he manages the core residency programs-in 2010. He is a contributing author to Still Kicking: Aging Performing Artists in NYC and LA Metro Areas, produced by the Research Center for Arts and Culture, where he continues to consult.
