Taylor Archives Begins 140-day Countdown to Premiere

Taylor dancer Eran Bugge will provide a daily posting on social media sites as the Paul Taylor Dance Company counst down to the premiere of Mr. Taylor's newest dance, the 140th of his career. Mr. Taylor will begin work on the dance on December 2, and the work will have its World Premiere on Friday, March 14 during the Company's three-week season at Lincoln Center, which runs from March 12 to March 30. The season celebrates the Company's 60th Anniversary.

The countdown posts will begin this Friday, October 25 -- 140 days before the premiere of dance number 140. They will consist of photos, costume sketches, posters and other memorabilia from each of the first 139 Taylor dances, taken from The Taylor Archives. The dance maker's 139th dance -- American Dreamer -- will have its New York Premiere on Wednesday, March 12 at 7pm.
