Tapestry Dance Company to Present 15th Annual Soul to Sole Festival at Long Center, 6/10-14

It's time to get up from the audience and step onstage! Tapestry Dance Company presents its annual SOUL TO SOLE FESTIVAL, a one-of-a-kind event featuring master classes, showcases, and dancers and teachers from around the world, June 10-14th at the Long Center. Tickets are on sale now and start at $27.

North America's only professional repertory tap dance company hosts over 75 master classes over a five-day period. Choreography courses, tap jams, and panel discussions take the student from traditional to contemporary techniques and choreography. Previous tap dance artists include Arthur Duncan (The Lawrence Welk Show), and NYC Bessie Award Nominee Nicholas Young.

Rest your tapping feet on June 13th, when Tapestry presents its Friends in Time Concert on June 13th.. Artists include pioneers such as Brenda Bufalino (NYC), Austin's own Acia Gray, Nicholas Young (STOMP) and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards the recent recipient of the Astaire Award for Broadway's After Midnight. This amazing evening of jazz-tap improvisation and choreography is one not to be missed!

This unique and amazing festival brings the passion of dance to the stage with hundreds of feet keeping time in a true celebration of rhythm.
