Perhaps the most popular tap show since Tap Dogs, and the winner of the "Spirit of the Fringe" Award (Edinburgh Fringe Festival's top theatrical award), Rhythmic Circus: Feet Don't Fail Me Now continues its rise from an underground percussive dance phenomenon into an international sensation that's been performed in over 90 cities worldwide. "Spectacular, joyous and inspirational, the Rhythmic Circus will have you dancing all the way home" (Edinburgh Festival).

Feet Don't Fail Me Now tells the tale of four tap dancing misfits who cross paths with a nutty private investigator possessing the power to halt time. The ensuing bond that develops between them sets them forth on a journey that presents wildly creative look at personal discovery and transformation.

Rhythmic Circus Feet Don't Fail Me Now will perform tonight, August 31, 2013 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, September 1 at 2:00 pm at the Harris Center for the Arts (formerly Three Stages at Folsom Lake College). Tickets are $21-$34; Premium $45. Tickets are available online at www.harriscenter.net or from Harris Center Ticket Office at 916-608-6888 from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, CA, facing East Bidwell Street.

"We created Feet Don't Fail Me Now out of the desire to get people back in touch with the spirit of celebration. The show helps remind our audiences that there is always a reason to get up, let go and dance," said co-creator Nick Bowman. "The name of our show comes from an old New Orleans chant dating back to the early 1900's when they literally had parades in the street every Sunday just to celebrate their lives and community. These people were rich - not necessarily financially, but with culture and spirit. Rhythmic Circus has adopted the chant as more of a rallying cry and has been ecstatic to see it strike a chord with people everywhere from our home town all the way across the globe."

From its beginnings five years ago at a small theatre in Northeast Minneapolis, Feet Don't Fail Me Now continues its phenomenal run with a 100 show, 60-city tour kicking o? with a 6-week, 20 venue tour in China. Along the way the tour will also orchestrate performances in New York City with an extended run at the infamous New Victory Theatre on 42nd Street in Times Square.
