The Something Beautiful Movement Orchestra premieres its interdisciplinary dance concert this January at Gorilla Tango Bucktown. Led by Mikel and Amanda Avery, The Something Beautiful Movement Orchestra combines choreography and original music composition that crosses genre and pushes the boundaries of Chicago's growing interdisciplinary performance scene. The Something Beautiful Movement Orchestra performs tonight, January 11 and Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 7:30 pm at Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 1919 N Milwaukee, Chicago IL, 60647. Husband and wife team Mikel and Amanda Avery bring sculpturesque choreography and original composition to the forefront with The Something Beautiful Movement Orchestra. Featuring six dancers and six musicians, The Something Beautiful Movement Orchestra crosses discipline boundaries and invites the audience to a world of sound waves and movement unlike anything seen before.
