If you've been holding out for a hero then wait no more. Mark Siano and his foxy posse of Freedom Dancers will fight for your honor -Karate Kid-style. One final time, Against All Odds, and with a little help from ACT's Central Heating Lab, Mark Siano & The Freedom Dancers will present six performances of The Soft Rock Kid from February 19-27, 2010 at ACT's Falls Theatre. This is a "greatest hits celebration" of the soft rock favorites that have afforded Siano countless sellout performances at area clubs.

So true...funny how it seems that this will be Seattle's last chance to revel in the Everlasting Love that defines Mark's unique talent. The Soft Rock Kid is a hilarious musical revue parody of the classic 80s film The Karate Kid and tells the story of how this musical comedy troupe went from zeroes to heroes in three short years. It's packed with high-energy moves, enthralling sing-alongs and pitch-perfect comedic timing. Join Mark Siano & The Freedom Dancers in what promises to be their most spectacular show to date; and help them say farewell, as they close the door on their extraordinarily popular soft rock period. They've hit the motherload with their six-show ACT engagement. This is it. There's no going back.

About Mark Siano & The Freedom Dancers

Mark Siano is a Seattle based performer/producer who loves putting on shows in his hometown for big audiences. In 2007, Siano called up a bunch of friends to help liven up his comedy routine and expand it into a high energy musical cabaret performance - The Freedom Dancers were born. Since then, the power combo known as Mark Siano & The Freedom Dancers have created some extraordinarily popular shows and won critical acclaim as one of the best independently produced shows in Seattle. Having performed countless sold out shows at the Rendezvous, Re-Bar, Chop Suey, and Triple Door, the group is thrilled to start 2010 with a massive six-show Soft Rock Finale presented through ACT's Central Heating Lab.
