Shaping Sound, a new contemporary dance company, held their red carpet premiere last night at the El Portal Theatre in Los Angeles. Emmy-nominated choreographers and dance visionaries Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance and Kyle Robinson, took the stage in front of the sold out crowd with ten world-class dancers to premiere a synergy of sight, sound, and movement. Company members have been featured on "So You Think You Can Dance", "Dancing With The Stars," andtoured internationally with recording artists and award-winning dance companies.
Celebrities that turned out to support the dance company included: Abby Lee Miller, Adam Shankman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Lance Bass, Laura Linda Bradley, Paula Abdul, Ricki Lake, Heather Morris, Stacey Tookey, Rachelle Rak, Missi Pyle and Lindsay Arnold.
The creation of Shaping Sound was chronicled on the television show, "All the Right Moves" on Oxygen, which brought viewers inside the lives of four of the most successful and sought-after dancers in the industry. Shaping Sound is a collaboration of theseartists and visual musicians who dreamed about creating opportunities for contemporary performers.
