STARZ Ballet Drama FLESH AND BONE Gets Choreographer, Still Searching for Lead Role

According to Deadline.com, STARZ's project FLESH AND BONE is being given the fast-track. FLESH AND BONE is a drama that follows the life of Claire, a young ballet dancer with a dark past, who finds herself a part of a prominent ballet company.

The project comes from executive producers Lawrence Bender and Kevin Brown with Moira Walley-Beckett as creator/executive producer. "I want to be able to capture dance on film with complete integrity, authenticity and freedom, said Walley-Beckett.

So far the show has yet to find someone for the lead role of Claire Robbins, but they have cast four dancers in supporting roles. Ethan Steifel (Center Stage) joins the team as a choreographer.
