STAGE TUBE: St. George Residents Fight for Right to Dance

People in St. George protested an ordinance that limited where they can dance. On October 24, the annual Monster Mash was held at the Fiesta Fun Center, but officers announced that no dancing was allowed. In fact, they would be arrested if they were caught dancing.

The organizer of the event, Jared Keddington, told ABC 4 Utah, "St George has been notorious for a long time not allowing dancing. They told me, I had to be very careful how I handle it and when I go in and tell people because if they dance or they get upset with the cops that I would get charged with a felony and thrown in jail for inciting a riot."
