The Roxey Ballet (www.roxeyballet.org) is pleased to announce that it will be honored for its contributions during the Roots to Grow, Wings to Fly fundraiser that will take place on Friday, March 31st 2017 at 7:00pm.

Enjoy dinner and dancing at the historic Prallsville Mills in Stockton, NJ, the original home of the Roxey Ballet, along with unlimited local beers, wine and cocktails.

Live and silent auctions will feature local artists, special experiences and one-of- a-kind items.

Tickets are $90. Cocktail attire. Sponsorship and donor opportunities available. For more information, visit www.roxeyballet.org/spring-fundraiser.

This special evening will recognize and celebrate the imprint that the Roxey Ballet has made in the community; from bringing movement to those who would otherwise not have access to it, to instilling life-long discipline and drive for young dancers. The number of individuals that the Roxey Ballet has touched reaches into the thousands and spans 22 years in Hunterdon County, NJ.

During this time the Roxey Ballet has created three unique programs that have helped shape the arts in Central NJ.

The Dance to Learn program is a one-of- a-kind experience that brings the ballet to school students in the form of a residency program. Students experience movement as an opportunity for expression beyond the limits of verbal language. It supports teachers as well by fostering engagement with their students, providing the knowledge and skills of dance as well as tools for making creative connections in their classrooms.

Celebrating Diversity is Roxey Ballet's signature anti-bulling assembly program and the recipient of the NJ Governor's Award for Artistic Excellence. This program is ideal for all school-aged children and showcases that being different is natural and we should embrace the diversity among each person.

Wheels and Bodies in Motion is a dance experience for standing and seated dancers of all levels and abilities, to learn new ways of moving and creating while establishing friendships. Mark and Melissa Roxey have been committed to creating integrated dance opportunities for over 20 years through their mission to build bridges through dance.

Roxey Ballet also offers a diverse spring production lineup, complete with Cinderella, Carmina Burana, and We vs C, stories of breast cancer survivors. Visit www.roxeyballet.org for more information and tickets.
