Ross Dance Company Presents Annual BAY AREA PRAISE DANCE CONCERT Tonight

Ross Dance Company is pleased to announce its annual Bay Area Praise Dance Concert | A Celebration of 10 Years at the African American Art and Culture Complex in San Francisco at 8pm.

Join us for an evening of jazz, modern and African styles of movements danced to rhythmic and uplifting sounds of Gospel music. This night of dance and inspiration celebrates the company's 10th year anniversary. For this special evening you will be moved and exhilarated by a 10 year body of work that reflects Ross' soulful, athletic and artistic style of movement that brings the Gospel to life. This evening will feature performances from local dance ministries, a live collaboration with Ross and Gospel singer Davina Kelly, worship leader from Covenant Worship Center and a post show reception accompanied with refreshments.

Ross Dance will also host its 6th annual Bay Area Praise Dance Conference for youth and adult praise/liturgical dancers at Trillant Studios in Oakland tonight, June 27th from 9-4:00 pm. As a dancer you will have the opportunity to connect with other ministries from all over the nation, take a variety of classes from professional instructors at Ross and engage in interactive workshops that will soar your dance ministry to new heights. As one of the largest praise dance conferences in California, the focus is to celebrate the Gospel through movement as dancers, fellowship, and strengthen our hearts to serve and inspire the community.

Since 2005, Ross Dance has used jazz, modern and African styles of movement to bring the message of the Gospel to life. Founded by Dwight and Dr. Tecsia Evans, Ross Dance is a non-profit faith-based organization located in Oakland, CA. We reach over 125 churches and praise dance organizations each year through our youth/adult classes and conferences. We have also connected with over 4,000 audience members through our concerts and guest performances. Ross has performed in a variety of venues such as, Joyce Soho in New York and City of Refuge in Los Angeles, an internationally known ministry pastored by Bishop Noel Jones. Ross Dance is also committed to community outreach and educating young dancers through our apprenticeship and internship programs. Our team of staff, volunteers and professional dancers are dedicated to using our gifts to educate fellow dancers and to inspire communities nationwide.
