Rosie O'Donnell tells Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson that she loves the Oxygen reality show "Dance Your Ass Off" - and that she wants to join a celebrity version of it.
"It's my favorite show," she told AH's Robinson on the set of the Lifetime series "DROP DEAD DIVA," where she was filming a return guest appearance for an episode airing September 13th. Her debut on "DIVA" will air on July 26th.
"The reason I love ‘Dance' is because my doctor said to me recently, ‘What is it I can do to get you to work out like an hour, two hours a day?' I said, ‘Get me a Broadway show." She also remarked that while she wouldn't want to guest on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars", she'd be happy to appear on a celebrity version of 'Dance'.
O'Donnell continued chatting with Access Hollywood, explaining that mixing exercise with performance was a great fitness incentive. "No matter what, when you do a Broadway show, you drop weight, you're fit and you feel good, because you have to. There's 2,000 people in velvet seats who paid 100 bucks."
