The Board of Directors, Chairman's Council, and Dancers of RIOULT Dance NY, a leading American modern dance company with a classic sensibility, raised more than $183,000 at their GALA EVENING 2016 on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.

The Gala was attended by 210 guests. The evening began with a performance at The Joyce Theater, 175 Eighth Avenue at 19th Street, featuring the NYC Premiere of Pascal Rioult's Polymorphous, followed by a Gala Dinner at 9:30pm at Studio 450, W. 31st Street (between Ninth & Tenth Avenues).

The 2016 Gala honored Beverly D'Anne (former NYSCA Dance Program Director), Susan Pettibone Fraser (former International Banking & Commodity Finance, Chase Manhattan Bank and RIOULT Dance NY Board member), and Dianne L. La Basse (former Executive Vice President, HSBC Private Bank and RIOULT Dance NY Chairman's Council member).

RIOULT Dance NY, founded in 1994, fast became an established name in modern dance with a reputation for bringing the sensual, articulate, and musical dance works of Pascal Rioult to audiences worldwide. The ten-dancer company, based in New York City, is led by husband-and-wife team Pascal Rioult and Joyce Herring - both former Martha Graham Dance Company principal dancers. With an established repertoire of over 40 dances that expands each year, RIOULT Dance NY presents an annual New York Season and tours nationally and abroad. In addition, in-school arts education and community outreach have been integral to the company since its inception, introducing students and families to the art of modern dance. www.rioult.org
