The World Choreography Awards (WCA), which honors and celebrates creativity, diversity and innovation by recognizing excellence in the art of choreography around the globe, announced today that singer/songwriter/dancer Riker Lynch will host the awards show, and will be joined a number of special guests. This year marks the 6th edition of the WCA, which will be held at The Montalban Theater in Hollywood, California on Monday October 24, 2016.
The show will feature dance performances by choreographers Liz Imperio, "Kida", Paul Becker, The Joe Tremanie Faculty and Dancers, Anthony W. Johnson, Amari Marshall, Johanna Sapakiie and Riker Lynch.

In addition to celebrating the best and brightest choreographers and dancers, the World Choreography Awards are partnering this year with Discrimination Free Zone, a charity that focuses on ending discrimination through the creation of discrimination free zones throughout the world.
"We're thrilled to be back this year to celebrate these talent artists, and to be partnering with DFZ whose goals align with ours in wishing that everyone is able to have a safe space where they can freely express themselves", said producer Allen Walls.
The World Choreography Awards 2016 is a charity event that is open to the public and is being produced by Allen Walls, Cecilie Stuart, Jordi Caballero &
Cheryl Baxter-Ratliff.
