From So You Think You Can Dance to Breaking Pointe, and America's Got Talent, the summer dance season is well underway. If watching these shows has you "itching" to dance, Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) has you covered!

RDT presents the first ever "Summer Sampler Series." In addition to regularly scheduled, year-round classes for adults (ages 16+), the school will offer 4 "mini sessions" on Saturday afternoons this summer. Classes, including Hip Hop, Modern, Contemporary Jazz, and Ballroom, are taught by RDT company members. The series offers classes that are not currently on the regular schedule in a fun, non-threatening environment for all skill levels.

Classes are open to all levels and no committment is required. Students can "drop-in" for $10/class, sign up for each session for $25, or dance for the entire summer for just $100.

The Summer Sampler Schedule is as follows:

HIP HOP - taught by Justin Bass (new RDT dancer)
June 8, 15, 22 | 12:15-1:30 pm

MODERN - taught by Efren Corado (new RDT dancer)
July 13, 20, 27 | 12:15-1:30 pm

CONTEMPORARY JAZZ - taught by Aaron Wood (RDT dancer since 2007 and director of the Community School)
August 10, 17, 24 | 12:15-1:30 pm

BALLROOM - taught by Tyler Orcutt (RDT dancer since 2012)
September 7, 14, 21 | 12:15-1:30 pm

The RDT Community School began in 1994 as an extension of Repertory Dance Theatre's mission of dedication to the creation, development, awareness and understanding of the art of modern dance.

The Community School offers a wide range of classes for adults (ages 16+) on evenings and weekends. Classes are designed on a "drop-in" basis so no pre-registration or long-term commitment is required. Teachers work with students at every level and no previous dance experience is expected.

Students can drop-in for $12 per class, or purchase a 10-class punchcard for $100 which is good for every class on the schedule (except Flamenco) .

RDT's Community School offers an affordable way to stay fit, express your creativity, and DANCE!
