A roulette of genuine dance numbers to popular music. Curated by director, dancer, choreographer and Warhol-fanatic Raja Feather Kelly, 13 choreographers hit the stage with no concept, no media, and no lengthy psycho-babble bullshit. Lights go up, music goes on, and they dance. They dance their hearts out- embracing what they call the 'J.O.D' (Joy of Dance). It's a show that promises to promise hope for dance and dance lovers. LYRICAL DANCES FOR A LOST GENERATION is the 2-sided mix-tape in response to the most frequently thought of question for choreographers in the age of Obama: Yeah, but can they dance? YES WE CAN!

LYRICAL DANCES FOR A LOST GENERATION was created while listening to Carly Rae Jepsen's "E-MO-TION" album in the kitchen of Effy Flack. It was a dream that is now a reality. LYRICAL DANCES FOR A LOST GENERATIONfeatures choreography by: Nicole Wolcott, Cori Olinghouse, Gierre J Godley/Project 44, Lisa Fagan Dance Problems, Larissa Velez-Jackson, Melissa Toogood, Jordan Isadore and Edward Sturgis, B.S. Movement, Dante Brown, Colleen Thomas, Cameron McKinney/Kizuna Dance, Effy Falck and Mel Gallo, and Mersiiha Mesihovic/Circuit Debris.
