RIOULT Dance New York is holding a special one-night-only public Studio Performance on Thursday October 11th – only two weeks away - to launch The company's upcoming Germany Tour. Beginning at 8:00 pm, the intimate showing at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center will conclude with a lively Q&A with Artistic Director and Choreographer, Pascal Rioult and the RIOULT Company dancers.
The showing will highlight three of Pascal Rioult's works created over the last seventeen years, giving New York audiences a glimpse at what The company will tour in Germany this November. Included in the program is the critically acclaimed 2011 collaboration with Pulitzer-prize winning composer Aaron Jay Kernis, ON DISTANT SHORES…A REDEMPTION FANTASY, as well as the tour de force, WIEN (1995) set to Ravel's score, and RIOULT's signature work and audience favorite, BOLERO (2002).
Tickets for the special event are $30.00 and available at http://www.manhattanmovement.com/event/rioult/. The Manhattan Movement & Arts Center is located 248 West 60th Street (between 10th & 11th Ave.) Directions to the venue are availble at http://www.manhattanmovement.com/about/directions/.
