Que Rico Mambo 3 Show Moved to Marion Theater, July 19-20

Piel Canela's third annual "Que Rico Mambo 3: Romantico" dance production, which was originally scheduled at the Apollo Theater, recently moved to Marian Anderson Theatre at Aaron Davis Hall, located on the campus of City College in Historic Harlem.

The show will be held July 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $30-$40 per person and can be purchased on the Piel Canela website, http://onlinestore.pielcaneladancers.com/quericomambo3.aspx.

The show features 24 dancers from the Piel Canela Dance Company performing to popular salsa songs from the 1980s and 1990s. The show also features documentary shorts from industry musicians and vocalists discussing the elements that typify salsa music from those decades. This event also marks the official joining of the 'Alma de Piel Canela' Adolescent Dancers and the 'Kids Team' Youth Dancer to the Piel Canela Dance Company.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the "Que Rico Mambo 3" show. Sponsorships are available for a $500 buy in and include a corporate logo incorporated into all event marketing, four VIP tickets to the show, reception table representation at the show and much more. Spirit Cruises and Lara Designs have already signed on as sponsors. All proceeds will go toward funding the on-going cultural education efforts at Piel Canela - Center for Latin Cultural Arts.

Spirit Cruises is also hosting an after party on July 20 after the evening's performance. The boat is located at Chelsea Piers and departs at 12am. Ticket holders are encouraged to join.
