The 15th annual Scotiabank BuskerFest features over 160 of the best street performers in over 70 acts from across the country and around the globe.
The festival runs Thursday, August 21 to Sunday, August 24 throughout the Downtown Yonge Neighbourhood, from Queen to College Streets and surrounding areas (including Trinity Square Park and Yonge-Dundas Square). Admission to Scotiabank BuskerFest is by voluntary donation to Epilepsy Toronto, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping more than 40,000 Torontonians with epilepsy, and their families, through counselling, employment support, advocacy and education. Scotiabank BuskerFest is the largest street performers' festival in North America (1.5 million are expected over the four days) and is the largest Epilepsy awareness-raising event in the world. Scotiabank BuskerFest features the elite of street performers from around the globe. Audiences will be entertained and charmed by acrobats, aerialists, contortionists, musicians, magicians, fire jugglers and a other incredible artists over four days and nights of silliness and spectacle with something for all ages - from specialty children's events to late-night fire performances and live music.
