Phoenix Arts to Present PRIMORDIAL FIRE at Supperclub SF, 4/25

With fantastic burlesque, bellydance, aerialist, and capoeira performances to the sound of deep sub bass, electronic, trap, dub music, Phoenix Arts Presents, Primordial Fire (ft. Andreilien), April 25th at Supperclub SF will be an extravaganza, celebrating the body, and inflaming the senses, not soon forgotten. In a world of time outside of time, where imagination is reality, and pure self expression is celebrated and encouraged; community comes alive, while fantasies are revealed. Featuring music by dj's- Andreilien, Ultraviolet, VNDMG, Kalistar, and Yoto, live tribal fusion dance, burlesque, aerialist, and capoeria, live bodypainting, art gallery, tea service, and more; your senses are your guide in the world of Phoenix Arts.

Andrei Olenev first emerged as HEYOKA on the San Francisco underground glitch/bass scene in 2006. By 2009 he was touring extensively and quickly became a staple sound in the rapidly growing bass music scene of North America. With a constantly evolving, original style, he stood out among bass music producers as one who keeps the vibe going strong while venturing to explore new realms of sonic experience. Playing always live sets of his own original tracks, his music has been described as a journey through fractal soundscapes and alternate realms while riding the waves of fat glitch beats and earth rumbling sub bass.

Eva debuted behind the decks before she could legally vote. Long fascinated with hip hop and other street-born music, she landed a job at a well known San Francisco record store and was quickly captivated by the futuristic sounds of jungle/drum and bass. It wasn't long before DJ UltraViolet had established herself within the fast-growing SF DnB scene, and was playing the largest raves in the Bay Area alongside the biggest names in the game...all just after graduating high school.

From the Bay Area and beyond, Anthony VanVranken is bringing his own brand of bass music. VanVranken blends diverse musical genres to form a sophisticated and layered sound that always keeps the dance floors packed. His mastery of hard-hitting bass and addictive synths has culminated to form his most recent project: VNDMG. VanVranken's roots are steeped in IDM and Downtempo: showcased in his earlier work under the name a.vanvranken. With several solo and collaborative releases that achieved critical acclaim across the world, and his 2011 album Landed [Daly City Records], VanVranken was ready for a new adventure.

Born in Oakland, California Yoto started playing instruments in the third grade and started producing at the age of 16 with a drum machine and keyboards and turntables. Years later, he began producing Bay area artists, most notably Dwayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone, keishya cole and members of Oakland's hip hop pioneers Hieroglyphics. Living in the Virgin Islands as one of LP Records most established producers, Yoto specializes in various styles of music.
