Performing Dance Arts (http://www.PerformingDanceArts.ca), Toronto's leading dance studio for children of all skill levels, is pleased to announce that it is currently accepting early applications for its Summer 2014 Princess Camp for girls ages 3-6.
The Princess Camp welcomes girls ages 3-6 to the exciting world of dance. With classes held in the morning and afternoons, the young princesses will be part of a fun, exciting, and energetic program that focuses on some of today's most popular dance styles, including jazz, ballet, tap, acro and hip-hop.
"Through the imaginative world of dance, the princesses will also be introduced to creative movement exercises that promote coordination and rhythmic awareness," says Ashley Daychak, artistic director at Performing Dance Arts. "Those attending Princess Camp will also have an opportunity to take part in tea parties, dress-up, stories, movies, photos, nail art, and a whole lot more."
The week long Princess Camp culminates with a performance held during the last 30 minutes of the week. The performance features the princesses performing a routine they rehearsed during the week, with family and friends welcome to watch the performance.
There will be three different opportunities for young dancers to participate in the Princess Camp. Princess Camp takes place July 28-August 1, August 5-August 8, and August 18-August 22. The five-day Princess Camp rate is $180.00, the four-day Princess Camp rate is $155.00, and the one-day rate is just $50.00. To book a spot at Performing Dance Arts' Summer 2014 Princess Camp or for more information, parents should call 905-856-1030.
"At Performing Dance Arts, we want to foster an atmosphere where our princesses build confidence and self-esteem and understand that dance is about becoming their best and enjoying the journey," Daychak concludes.
