National Choreography Month Boston Series to Continue at The Dance Complex

Announcing the fifth annual National Choreography Month (NACHMO) Boston performance series. On January 29 at 6PM and 8PM, 28 local choreographers will present new dance work created during the month of January, dubbed National Choreography Month. The Dance Complex in Cambridge, MA, will host the series of shows in the Julie Ince Theatre.

Each evening will feature a unique roster of new work in the styles of modern, post-modern, contemporary, tap, ballet, Bharatanatyam, and dance-theatre. Works will range from solos to duets and group works.

NACHMO performances celebrate the vibrant creativity of the Boston dance scene and aim to forge new artistic connections to strengthen the community. Tickets are offered at a sliding scale; $10-$15 for general admission. Advance tickets are available here http://nachmo2017.bpt.me/ (the show is expected to sell out).

Both performances take place at the Julie Ince Theatre Dance Complex in Cambridge, MA 02139.

NACHMO is your yearly choreographic kick in the pants conceived by Sharyn Korey and Anna Brown Massey. Nachmo spurs dancers to choreograph by challenging you to work against a deadline.
