The Mill Ballet began its 22nd year of renowned dance instruction. In addition to a range of ballet classes, new programs in Flamenco and Acrobatics will join the schedule. Prospective students are invited to visit the school for a free trial class.
"Flamenco for All" and "Intro to Acro" are 8-week sessions offered to students ages 7 and Up. The Mill Ballet School looks forward to introducing these classes and welcoming two new instructors to the school.
"Flamenco for All" is taught by Lisa Botalico, who joined the Mill Ballet faculty this summer after touring the world with La Compania Folklorica Latina and Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre. This class begins on September 22nd and meets Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 PM.
"Intro to Acro", taught by
Lester Holmes, works to fuse acrobatic movements into classical dance styles.
Lester Holmes, who also joined theMill Ballet faculty this summer, has has an extensive dance career in performance, teaching, and choreography, on Broadway and internationally. This class begins on September 23rd and meets Fridays from 6:45-7:45 pm.

The Mill Ballet School has provided dance students with world-class educational opportunities, and the highest caliber professional faculty. A range of classes are offered at the school each year, including Creative Movement, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap. All classes are taught by leading educators and instructors, who foster an empowering, welcoming environment.
Throughout the academic year, special opportunities are available for Mill Ballet's students to audition and perform. This month, pre-professional students will perform a variety of Flamenco pieces for "Milford Alive" on Saturday, September 24th at 2:30pm. On Sunday, September 25th students will perform at the opening ceremony of the Travis Manion 9/11 Heroes Run in Doylestown, PA to memorialize those who lost their lives on 9/11. The piece, called "Garden of the Guardians", was choreographed by former Mill Ballet student, Emma Manion.
