BroadwayWorld has learned that Emmy Award-winning composer Jeremy Lamb (Cars 3, Fall City, Monsters University) has teamed-up with New York-based dancer, choreographer and director Kelli Gautreau for 'Dancing 4 Change.'
Combined along with dancers aged 4 to 19-years-old Jeremy and Kelli have started to develop thought provoking dance videos to help raise awareness for charitable organizations across the United States including the Mental Health Association New Jersey and Alicia's Law.
Speaking to BroadwayWorld exclusively, Kelli comments, "We call our short films "Dancing Public Service Announcements". The purpose of each film is to raise awareness for social issues relating to children and teens. All of our films are done without dialogue. The story is told through dance and acting. We're bringing back silent films but with a twist! Having Jeremy be a part of everything from the brainstorming to the final product is just incredible."
The pair's recent collaboration for the film (See Me) I'm In Here! was created to raise awareness for mental illness in children. The short film won a Remi Award at the WorldFest Houston Film Festival in addition to also winning the "Best Ensemble" award at the New York State Film Festival.
