Houston Ballet has announced that Angela Lane has joined its senior management team as Chief Development Officer. Ms. Lane will be responsible for developing comprehensive strategic fundraising plans and overseeing the development department at the company.
A Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Ms. Lane brings fifteen years of experience in development at several prestigious companies. From 2008 to 2014, she served as Director of Development at Houston Grand Opera. From 1999 to 2008, she worked at American National Red Cross, rising to the position of Director of Development. She also serves as an instructor at Rice University's Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership.
Her experience is enhanced by her Master of Arts degree in Public Relations, Master of Arts degree in Philanthropy, Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management.
