Free Dance Classes to Celebrate National Dance Day July 26

Somerville-based OnStage Dance Company will host a day of FREE DANCE AND FITNESS CLASSES open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, at the Company's Somerville studio at 276 Broadway to celebrate National Dance Day.

National Dance Day is an annual event created by So You Think You Can Dance and the Dizzy Feet Foundation to "encourage Americans to embrace dance as a fun and positive way to maintain good health and fight obesity," according to the event website.

OnStage Dance Company will hold thirty-minute long dance and fitness classes in a variety of styles, including: Yoga (mats provided!), Pop Jazz, Music Video Dance, Contemporary, Swing, Latin Rhythms, and more!

No advanced sign up is required-just show up, try new styles, and stay for multiple classes.

OnStage Dance Company (OSDC) is a 501(c)4 non-profit organization dedicated to creating performance opportunities for Boston area dancers. Our mission is to provide a venue for self-expression through performance in front of a live audience. OSDC is for experienced dancers and emerging choreographers with a background or interest in a variety of dance styles.
