The Actors' Equity Foundation will host a series of donation dance classes to benefit its annual Falat Basket Project.

On April 6, 2017, you are invited to come and dance with Chip Abbott at Actors' Equity Association's Audition Center.

Abbott garnered a Tony nominee for best choreography for his work as assistant choreographer and dance captain to Joshua Bergasse on the Broadway revival of On the Town.

All of the donations will go to benefit the Foundation's historic and important Falat Basket Project. Since 1985, the volunteer-run Stephen J. Falat Basket Project's holiday gift baskets (clothing, candy, toys, toiletries and more) and delivers them to local New York hospitals and organizations to brighten the holidays of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS. During the first two weeks of December, the baskets are assembled and delivered by a group of dedicated volunteers.

Said the Foundation's Managing Director, Joan Glazer, "The Falat Basket Project is one of the most important contributions of this Foundation. We want to increase awareness of this amazing, volun- teer-led holiday tradition so that we can continue to help and provide for people living with HIV/AIDS. I can't think of a better way to donate to this incredible program then to take a dance class with some of Broadway's best dancers and then relax with an evening of yoga. And, all for a small - or large - tax-deductible donation."

Additional classes are planned for May and June, including a yoga class and another dance class, this time with Adam Cates, associate choreographer for Broadway's Anastasia, the Tony Award-winning A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder and Anything Goes, among others.
