DANCE June Lewis & Company presents a program of four works, three from the repertory of modern dance choreographer June Lewis, plus a premiere choreographed by Claudio Assante. Performances run from October 2nd through October 4th.
A master teacher of the Graham technique and a choreographer with a distinctive voice, June Lewis founded DANCE June Lewis and Company in 1968. The Company returns to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Theatre to celebrate its heritage of her timeless dances, which have been described as a "magical releasing of the imagination and memory." June Lewis' legacy lives in the dancers who share her work.
