Career Transition For Dancers announces "Stepping into hope and change: A free career development seminar for dancers" on Thursday, April 8th, 2010 at the Actor's Equity Audition Center, 165 West 46th Street (at Broadway) 2nd floor NYC NY 10036.

The free all-day seminar begins from 9:30-10:00am with Registration. The day's events begins at 10am with a Keynote Speaker (tba). This will be followed by Breakout Sessions: Survival Work; Hot careers and exploration; Dancing into a passion-based career. A lunch will be provided during the Networking/Resource Fair. The afternoon sections begin at 2:00 pm with another plenary speaker (tba), followed by Breakout Sessions, and the final wrap to conclude aprox. 4:30 pm.

Partner organizations for the event include Harkness Center for Dance Injuries, Pentacle and The Field. The workshops will be facilitated by Lauren S. Gordon, MSW, LCSW; Suzie Jary, MSW, LCSW, CP; and Paulette Fried, MSW, NCCC - Career Counselors.
