One of Washington D.C.'s most influential choreographers, Lucy Bowen McCauley, leads Bowen McCauley Dance (BMD) to D.C.'s Sidney Harman Hall on February 21, 2009 (7:30 p.m.) and 22 (2 p.m.). "We're so excited to be partnering with the Harman Center. It's an incredible space in which to showcase Lucy's powerful choreography," exclaims Shari Crandall, BMD's Executive Director.

No Holds Barred features reprisals of critically-acclaimed pieces from A Smile to Hide the Pain, BMD's sold-out hit show from Signature Theatre's 2008 Kander & Ebb Celebration. "The music of Kander and Ebb really lends itself to a true blend of sexy and sophisticated, playful and heart-wrenching choreography," says McCauley.

Rounding out the program are audience favorites, 2003's ah, love, a trio set to Brahms' "Liebeslieder Walzer" and Alleluia, Amen, a three-movement work that weaves together the magnificent music of Fauré, Beethoven, and Handel.

Audiences will also get a tantalizing sneak-peek of a work in progress and a Gala to celebrate BMD's debut at the Harman will follow the Saturday, February 21 show.
