Bolshoi Ballet's SWAN LAKE Set for Ridgefield Playhouse Tonight

The Bolshoi's Ballet masterpiece Swan Lake, danced in Moscow to Tchaikovsky's famous, lyrical score, will be broadcast in HD at The Ridgefield Playhouse tonight, March 21, at 6 p.m. Performed to perfection by the unparalleled virtuosity of Russia's great Bolshoi, this universal and enchanting story of love, deception and drama is a must to experience. In the leading roles are Svetlana Zakharova, Denis Rodkin and Artemy Belyakov. Swan Lake depicts the tragic love between Princess Odette and Prince Siegfried.

Founded in 1776, the legendary Bolshoi Ballet is one of the most celebrated ballet companies in the world. More than 250 dancers including some of the world's most celebrated artists performing today -- Svetlana Zakharova, David Hallberg, Maria Alexandrova, Evgenia Obraztsova, Ekaterina Shipulina, Olga Smirnova, Artem Ovcharenko, Anna Nikulina, Vladislav Lantratov, and Semyon Chudin -- are part of the corps de ballet.

Bernard's (20 West Lane, Ridgefield) will serve a special $45 prix-fixe menu, or a complimentary glass of wine with dinner, the day/night of these events; reservations suggested.
