A Hop Tap and a Jump to Jersey Tap Fest This August

Jersey Tap Fest is getting ready to welcome over 150 dancers for four days of classes, workshops and performances next month, August 11-14 at Dancer's Pointe and Bloomfield College in New Jersey. Directed and founded by Hilary-Marie, this young entrepreneur and professional tap artist will be offering over 40 classes to students from all over the world by the industry's most prominent teachers. This festival is rooted in the need to provide dancers with a comprehensive and in-depth look into the demands of what it takes to be a dynamic tap artist, while inviting them to share the stage with professionals in a culminating performance, Tap n' Time on August 13th!

This year's host of Tap n' Time is now confirmed, and we are excited to announce Joshua Johnson! From the subways of NYC, to the stage of Dancing with the Stars, and later to the set of Ellen, Joshua a dynamic tapper and inspiring personality with a message of perseverance and beating the odds! More exciting news for Tap Fest Faculty! Anthony Morigerato, one of the dancers performing, just received an Emmy nomination for his choreography on So You Think You Can Dance! How wonderful for all of these aspiring tappers who are participating in the festival to get to share the stage and studio with such wonderful talents! Check out his nominated work here:
