Comedian, actor and podcast host Marc Maron will be a featured guest on the online radio program 'Live From the Barrage' this Friday, October 9th during a rare call-in appearance.

Maron, 52, is fresh off of a successful string of celebrity interviews for his own online radio program 'WTF with Marc Maron,' including recent a conversation with Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards and a controversial interview with U.S. President Barack Obama. Maron's show, which is famously broadcast out of his residential garage in Southern California, has aired over 640 episodes and is considered the most popular podcast on Apple's iTunes.

The interview with Maron, a former Queens native, can be heard at 8:30pm EST shortly after the show airs at 8:00pm EST on the collective indie radio network Radio Nope (http://www.radionope.com). The live radio program concludes at 11:00pm EST before being recorded as a podcast for download on iTunes.

'Live From the Barrage' is a popular underground radio program that similarly broadcasts out of a converted garage-turn-bar-turn-radio studio in Flushing Queens. The weekly comedy show, which covers a variety of topics ranging from music, sports and current events, is simultaneously hosted by five unique radio personalities led by humorist John Houlihan. Past guests include legendary indie producer Steve Albini, activist/musician Billy Bragg, and members of various musical acts such as Cheap Trick and The Ramones.
