Hector Suarez Set for Comedy Central Latin America's First-Ever Latin 'Roast'

Comedy Central Latin America announced today that it will bring the iconic "Roast" franchise to Latin America for the first time ever. The Emmy-award winning format, where the 'roastee' is subject to cruel criticism and harsh untold comical truths will feature legendary and controversial Mexican comedian Hector Suarez as the region's first 'Roastee.' The Comedy Central "Roast of Hector Suarez" will be taped in Mexico City, DF in May.

About Héctor Suárez

With a trajectory spanning over 53 years in film, theater and television, Héctor Suárez has had an amazing career as an actor, director, producer, editor and script-writer. He revolutionized the Mexican comedy scene with social criticism and the development of celebrated characters such as Soyla, Thomas, Diego "El Gallego, El 'No Hay', El Destroyer, El Flanagan, El Pasotas and El Picudo, amongst others. Throughout his career Suarez had the opportunity to study mime with the renowned mime performer Marcel Marceau and also worked in theater with Alejandro Jodorowsky.
