Veteran comic Gary Gulman returns to COMEDY CENTRAL in the network television premiere of GARY GULMAN: IN THIS ECONOMY, debuting on Saturday, December 8 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Gulman takes on the absurd realities of living in a financial crisis with his all-new stand-up special.  In front of a live audience at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, he gives the kind of financial tips one can't get from Wall Street, explains how constantly watching movies helps save money, puts millionaires in perspective, and imagines a conversation between Bill Gates and Donald Trump

Leading up to the on-air premiere, the COMEDY CENTRAL Stand-Up Web site will feature preview clips from the special.

Gulman got his big break as a runner-up on NBC's "Last Comic Standing," and then joined Dane Cook and Robert Kelly on HBO's Tourgasm.  He has appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (and Craig Kilborn), "Last Call with Carson Daly," and "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

His critically-acclaimed digital album on COMEDY CENTRAL Records called "No Can Defend" was recorded in at the Metropolitan Room in New York City and was released in June.  TheLaughButton.com stated "Gulman's style lies somewhere between Jerry Seinfeld and Woody Allen, let's call it observational-neurotic."

Gulman also has starred in COMEDY CENTRAL's "Premium Blend," the COMEDY CENTRAL one-hour special "Gary Gulman: Boyish Man," "Showtime Presents Gary Gulman," and "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen."  He has performed at events including the NASCAR Year End Banquet, New York Comedy Festival, HBO's Las Vegas Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs Montreal International Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs Gala in Canada, as well as at over 100 colleges including Yale, Harvard, Boston College, Tulane, Villanova, Boston University, NYU, UCLA, Ohio State, Texas Christian University, Brandeis and MIT.

"Gary Gulman: In This Economy" is executive produced by Gulman, Brian Volk-Weiss and Bill Blumenreich.
