The Western Wind vocal sextet will present Holiday Light - Joyous Music for Chanukkah and Christmas on Saturday, December 17 at 8:00 PM in AbiGail Adams Smith Auditorium, 417 East 61st Street in Manhattan.

The program celebrates Chanukkah and Christmas, all in one evening of song. Holiday Light presents a diverse array of holiday music from the middle ages to today. Organized by themes such as Stars and Lights, Angels and Shepherds, Holiday Messages and Food & Festivities, the program presents a broad selection of vocal music in styles ranging from Medieval, Renaissance, Early American and Romantic to contemporary works, folk songs and spirituals. New arrangements of seasonal classics such as The Cherry Tree Carol and charming Chanukkah Songs such as Flory Jagoda's Ocho Kandelikas will be featured.

The concert will take place in AbiGail Adams Smith Auditorium, known for its intimate atmosphere and warm acoustics.

Western Wind members are Linda Lee Jones, Michele Kennedy, sopranos, William Zukof, countertenor, Todd Frizzell, David Vanderwal, tenors and Peter Walker, bass

Guest performers will be Patricia Davis, violin and Will Holshouser, accordion.
