As of today, individual tickets for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO)'s upcoming 2014/2015 performance season are available to purchase online at TSO.CA and in person at the TSO Customer Service box office. Compose-Your-Own subscription options will continue to be available to TSO patrons wishing to receive ticket discounts and subscriber benefits.

A new and exciting addition to the upcoming season will be a performance by internationally renowned pianist Lang Lang, as part of the TSO's second annual Chinese New Year concert on February 21, 2015. Performing Gershwin's beloved Rhapsody in Blue, Lang Lang will be joining host Mark Roswell a.k.a. "Dashan" and conductor Long Yu as the Maestro leads the TSO in traditional Chinese and western orchestral music in the spirit of the Chinese holiday.

Over the course of the new season, the TSO will present over 100 concerts, featuring six world premières, one North American première, and five Canadian premières. Over 40 musicians and conductors will be making their TSO débuts this season, with 57 Canadian artists and ensembles joining the Orchestra, and works by seven Canadian composers featured on various programmes.

TONIGHT: Everyone is welcome to join TSO musicians and staff on the Roy Thomson Hall patio tonight from 5:00pm-8:00pm for a free evening of live music performed by the TSO Brass Quintet. Hosted by Canadian opera singer and comedian Mary Lou Fallis, the event will mark the last concert in Roy Thomson Hall's inaugural Live on the Patio series.
