Winner of the 2011 Ivey award for "Best Overall Production", The 7-Shot Symphony (a.k.a The Kick Ass Cowboy Show) combines live music and
Cirque du Soleil-like movements with epic mythological characters. Eurydice, Thor, Anansi, Hades, Orpheus and many more will meet onstage, as only Olympians can. One night only; Friday, September 28, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at The O'Shaughnessy at St. Catherine University.
Developed under the direction of Ryan Underbakke, Matt Spring, and its cast, The 7-Shot Symphony takes place in the fictional Deus County, where 7 actors play over 45 different characters and create epic shoot-outs, acts of heroism, and intense love stories without the use of props. Underscored by the band, Tree Party, the cast takes you on an adventure combining myths and legends from various cultures, creating their worlds using only their bodies.
