For more than 50 years, The Chieftains have mesmerized audiences with their traditional Irish music and have collaborated with musicians across multiple genres - Pavarotti, Van Morrison, Ziggy Marley and Elvis Costello, to name a few. Now, they're joining the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra to bring the sounds of Ireland to Atlanta. If you've never experienced the glories of Ireland, let the music of The Chieftains - Paddy Moloney, Kevin Conneff and Matt Molloy - transport you during two performances this weekend, February 27 and February 28, 8:00 p.m.

Led by multi-instrumentalist and founder Paddy Moloney, the multiple Grammy Award-winning band has released nearly 60 albums and they're largely credited with bringing Irish music to a worldwide audience. The Chieftains will perform both timeless Gaelic classics and rollicking original compositions, along with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in this crowd-pleasing concert that will bring the exhilarating sounds of Ireland vividly to life.

"Music is a tradition that is passed down from one generation to the next and we look forward to joining the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for this vibrant performance," said Paddy Moloney.

Single tickets for these performances are $25-$65. Additional details are available at aso.org.
