Debuting at The Barns at Wolf Trap in a return to the stage after a nearly fatal scooter accident in 2008, Will Hoge has re-emerged with a new studio release rife with raw emotion and musings about the fragility of life. Aptly titled, The Wreckage, the record was introduced to the world this past weekend on CBS Saturday Morning, where Hoge and band performed an energetic rendition of lead single, "Even if It Breaks Your Heart."
Hailed as a throwback to the classic American rock 'n' roll style, Hogeis highly regarded in the cut throat performance community of Nashville, whose gritty, Americana style is often compared to that of
Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty.
Wolf Trap is thrilled to host Will Hoge as our inaugural Barns show for 2009.

After a chance meeting in 1987 at a guitar seminar, Bert Lams,
Paul Richards, and Hideyo Moriya melded their three distinct playing styles to form the internationally renowned, California Guitar Trio. An uncharacteristic blend of classical picking, surf-guitar, and rock/blues emanates from the trio, injecting new life into classic covers "Bohemian Rhapsody," (Queen) and "Echoes" (Pink Floyd,) and contemporary renditions of such classics as Bach's "Toccato and Fugue." Their latest release, Echoes (2008), showcases tremendous range, with renditions of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird" and Beethoven's "Pastorale Symphony."
