The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the receipt of a $2000 grant from the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor. This funding will help support the 2014-15 KinderConcerts Series. Kinderconcerts are free 30-minute concert programs hosted by the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Dexter District Libraries. Toddlers to five-year-olds join A2SO musicians, a child movement specialist, and a pianist for a delightfully guided introduction to the orchestra through storytelling and motion.
"I am proud of how KinderConcerts serve our community and thank Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor who have been championing this program since 2009 which keeps this program free to all youngsters and their families," said J. Robert Gates, ASO President.
