The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra has been selected by Whole Foods Market for the "One Dime at Time" program. Funds generated through this program will help to support the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra's Taste of Music program, which brings fresh, local music and music education to farmers markets throughout Southeast Michigan

The One Dime at a Time program provides an incentive to customers to eliminate single-use plastic bags and develop stronger communities all at the same time. When you shop at either of the Ann Arbor Whole Foods locations January through March bring in your own shopping bags! At the cash register you can choose to donate the ten cent per bag refund to the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra for the Taste of Music program.

Taste of Music is a free program funded by the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan. Taste of Music provides a performance by a small group of professional musicians, an Instrument Petting Zoo for kids of all ages and free concert tickets for food assistance program participants at your local farmers market. Taste of Music has visited Dearborn, Wayne, Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Brighton and other farmers markets around Southeast Michigan.

Whole Foods and the A2SO hope you will help grow the "Taste of Music" by donating "One Dime at a Time" at your Ann Arbor Whole Foods markets.

The A2SO is a premier regional orchestra offering live symphonic music to over 80,000 patrons of all ages in venues ranging from the historic Michigan Theater and Hill Auditorium to schools, daycares, libraries, farmers markets, and various senior citizen centers in the five-county area. For tickets visit a2so.com, email tickets@a2so.com or call (764)994-4801. 2015-2015- 2016 Season Subscriptions go on sale April 2015.
