Born in 1977 in France, Virginie Bove graduated from the Conservatory of Saint-Maur and the National Conservatory of Paris with distinctions and diplomas in flute, piccolo and chamber music. She has also taken masterclasses with reknown soloists such as Mathieu Dufour, Michel Debost and Philippe Bernold.
Between 1995-2000 she was the principal flutist of the Sοrbonne Orchestra in Paris with which she recorded various works and toured in France, Italy and the United States. She then worked as a freelancer in professional orchestras in France until her admission to the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.
Chamber music has always had a prominent place in her musical activities. She collaborated with various musicians as well as being a member of the musical ensembles Evohe Wind Quintet and Chronos Ensemble. Cypriot composers, such as Savvas Savvas, Evis Sammoutis, Maria Andreou and Constantinos Papageorgiou have written works dedicated to her.
Since 2005 she teaches the flute at various academies in Nicosia, such as the Ethniko Odio, the Arte Music Academy and the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra Academy.
Nicolas Collinet, born in 1983 in France, began studying the piano at the age of 9. In 1994, he entered the Conservatoire National de Région de Marseille, where he received a rigorous musical education and earned several distinctions, including the first prize in piano unanimously, the first prize in chamber music, and the Rotary Prize. These awards marked the beginning of a musical career that has continued to develop over the years.
In 2002, he continued his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the guidance of Dominique Cornil and Jean-Claude Vanden-Eyden. He earned a Master's degree in piano as well as the piano aggregation, a diploma that qualifies him to teach at leading conservatories. During his training, he received valuable advice from several renowned pianists, including Claire-Marie Le Guay, Bernard d'Ascoli, Jean-Marc Luisada, and Jean-Luc André, all of whom contributed to his artistic development.
Throughout his career, Nicolas Collinet has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in various countries, including Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. His performances have allowed him to perform in a variety of settings and expand his repertoire.
