Sing For Hope & Yale Present Songs For Our Future Performance & Benefit 5/15

Sing for Hope (www.singforhope.org), a non-profit organization that mobilizes a corps of more than 500 professional artists in volunteer service programs that benefit communities in need, has joined forces with Yale University to present an evening of song performed by distinguished Yale alumni. Songs for Our Future will take place in honor of Yale's "Day of Service", and as a benefit for Sing for Hope's Informance Arts program, which brings dynamic arts education to underserved New York City public schools.

Featured Sing for Hope performers at the May 15th benefit include:
- Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris (Assassins and Sweeney Todd on Broadway; recurring role on Fox series Fringe; upcoming film Cirque du Frea)
- Tony nominee Melissa Errico (My Fair Lady, Amour, and Dracula on Broadway)
- Joe Farrell (Adding Machine; National Tour of Titanic; Host of TLC's Trading Spaces: Family)
- Tony Award winner Malcolm Gets (Amour and Passion on Broadway; HBO's Grey Gardens)
- Christopher Herbert (appearances at Avery Fisher Hall, Boston's Symphony Hall, Tanglewood, Wolf Trap)
- Tony Award winner Lisa Hopkins (La Bohème on Broadway; appearances with Gotham Chamber Opera and Prague National Theater)
- Amy Justman (Company on Broadway; Show Boat at Carnegie Hall; appearances with Maine State Opera and American Symphony Orchestra)
- Anika Larsen (Rent and Xanadu on Broadway; National Tour of Avenue Q)
- Tony Award winning composer and Grammy nominee Robert Lopez (Avenue Q)
- Andy Sandberg (appearances at Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall; currently producing the Broadway revival of Hair)
- Sophie Shao (appearances at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall).

The evening will be directed by Andy Sandberg with music direction by Justin Hatchimonji

Tickets are priced at $75 (concert only) and $150 (includes VIP reception with the artists and preferred seating). Sponsorship packages are available at $2500 and $5000 which include naming rights to Sing for Hope's in-school residencies. All proceeds will go towards preserving arts education in New York City's public schools through Sing for Hope's Informance Arts program. To purchase tickets:

Guided by a belief in the arts as a vehicle for social change, Sing for Hope is a non-profit organization that mobilizes a corps of more than 500 professional artists - from classical musicians to photographers to Broadway performers - in high-impact volunteer service programs that benefit communities in need. Founded in 2006, Sing for Hope provides three programs: Gala Arts (specially designed benefit concerts that raise awareness and funds for humanitarian causes), Informance Arts (educational outreach initiatives for underserved children) and Healing Arts (in-hospital performances that complement the healing process). Each Sing for Hope project is defined by the volunteerism of professional artists and our belief in the transformative power of the arts. Sing for Hope is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
