Second Story Repertory Presents THE INVERSE OPERA, Jan. 6

The Inverse Opera (TIO) has an in-residence season of late-night entertainment at SecondStory Rep in Redmond Town Center, and our debut with ACT - A Contemporary Theatre's Central Heating Lab series in January of 2012. The SSR performances will be heightened versions of TIO’s cabarets wherein the audience is encouraged to let their hair hang down, grab a cocktail and relax while the singers perform themed evenings of song. Upcoming programs include Under the Influence and type THIS!

type THIS! is every performer's dream program: singers perform the material that they love, but would never feasibly be hired to sing. We all have the right to belt out whatever songs we want and do justice to any characters we see fit. That's what this evening is all about: breaking the mold, taking the chance, and risking it all to prove that performing against 'type' can be powerful.

The Inverse Opera will have performances on January 6th and 7th at 9 p.m.
