Internationally renowned for his musical knowledge, immense enthusiasm, and extraordinarily charismatic stage presence, Maestro Boguslaw Dawidow has been lauded in the media in the following terms: "a conductor of a great stature, with a clear beat and marvelous rapport with the Orchestra... produced a truly magnificent Viennese sound... "Gazette (USA) "with as precise and clear baton technique as we've ever seen..."(The Washington Times), and "a great Slavic soul..."(Wiener Zeitung).
Maestro Boguslaw Dawidow served as the General and Music Director of the Opole Philharmonic of Poland from his appointment in September 1999 until 2012. He was also deeply involved in shaping the artistic vision and raising the international stature of the Opole Philharmonic in his capacities as both Music Director and General Director of the Philharmonic.

In 2010 Maestro Dawidow received the title of Professor honoris causa. Since 2008 he has been represented by Columbia Artists Management Inc.

Born in Sopot, Poland, Maestro Dawidow studied conducting under Bohdan Wodiczko in Warsaw and Krzysztof Missona in Krakow, later continuing his conducting studies in Vienna and Italy. The most significant influence on his musical personality came from the legendary American composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein.

In the 1980's Maestro Dawidow founded the Chopin Chamber Orchestra in Krakow, Poland, with which he toured throughout Europe and South America in 2009 and 2011. From 1991 to 1995 Maestro Dawidow was a resident conductor of the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, touring with the ensemble in Europe in 1993, 1994, and 1995 as well as recording almost 20 CDs.

From 1994 to 2002 he served as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Russian National Academic Symphony Orchestra in Tomsk - one of Russia's oldest orchestras, having been established in 1879 - touring extensively throughout Europe in 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1999 as well as in China in 1997, 1998, and 1999.

Maestro Boguslaw Dawidow has cooperated on a regular basis with other orchestras and opera institutions around the globe, in such places as Paris, Vienna, Berlin, Rome, Zu?rich, Moscow, London, Haifa, Leningrad, Buenos Aires, Sa?o Paulo, Mexico, the United States and in the Far East, in Seoul, Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Maestro Dawidow, with his Opole Philharmonic, has conducted a number of very successful concerts in Vienna, at the Musikverein's Golden Hall in 2008, 2009, and 2010. He also took the Opole Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra on numerous tours through Europe, with stops in Austria, France, Luxembourg, Holland, Belgium, Italy, and Germany, as well as on two extensive tours through China in 2004, 2005, and 2006. There were also two tours through South America in 2009 and 2011.

In 2011 Maestro Dawidow and the Opole Philharmonic Orchestra performed an outstandingly successful USA Concert Tour organized by Columbia Artists Management Inc., embracing 46 concerts in 19 states - one of the longest tours by any European orchestra. This concert tour received critical acclaim and a great public reception.

Apart from numerous archive audio and TV recordings, Bogus?aw Dawidow has also made many CD recordings, including recordings of the Brahms Symphonic Cycle and works by Tchaikovsky, Szymanowski and Elsner, recorded in recent years with the Opole Philharmonic.

Because of his exceptional musical talents, wide range of musical experience and management skills, in 2002 the American Biographical Institute in New York bestowed on Maestro Dawidow the title "Man of the Year" in recognition of his musical accomplishments on both sides of the Atlantic and in the Far East and Africa.

Known for the impeccable clarity of his execution and the vivacity and virtuosity of his performances, the brilliant Israeli pianist Roman Rabinovich has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Israel. Gold Medal Winner of the 2008 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, he has appeared at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Gewandhaus Leipzig, Wigmore Hall in London, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and St. Petersburg's Glazunov Hall.

Mr. Rabinovich made his Israel Philharmonic debut under the baton of Zubin Mehta at the age of 10; since then his guest soloist appearances have included the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Ann Arbor Symphony, the Dohnanyi Orchestra of Budapest, and the Neuchatel Chamber Orchestra of Switzerland, among other orchestras. In addition to Maestro Mehta, Rabinovich has worked with such conductors as JoAnn Falletta, David Amado, Yoav Talmi, Noam Sheriff, Yaniv Segal, and Arie Lipsky.

Most recently, in early 2013, Orchid Classics released Mr. Rabinovich's debut recording: "Ballets Russes": which features Mr. Rabinovich's brilliant arrangements of Ravel's Daphnis & Chloe, Stravinsky Petrushka; and Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet, all for piano solo. Mr. Rabinovich was honored with the Classical Recording Foundation Artist of the Year award for his new CD, which was also given a four-star review by BBC Music Magazine, who had this to say: "This is clearly a labour of love...the enthusiasm of his joyful playing is infectious-the absence is barely registered of the rich orchestral fabric in which these ballets are usually clothed." (August 2013)

In recent seasons Mr. Rabinovich has performed the Rachmaninov Third Concerto with the Ann Arbor Symphony, the Prokofiev Third Concerto with the Lubbock Symphony, and Mozart's concerti K. 488 and K. 595 with the Kamerata Jerusalem on the orchestra's tour in Italy. In April 2009, as part of his prize at the Rubinstein Competition, Mr. Rabinovich played a recital for the Mezzo channel in France, which was televised to 39 countries and to millions of viewers. In May 2008 Mr. Rabinovich replaced Murray Perahia in a recital at the Mann Auditorium in Tel-Aviv.

Roman Rabinovich "whose mature and self-assured playing belies his chronological age," (San Francisco Classical Voice) is an avid chamber musician and his collaborators have included violinists Daniel Hope, Miriam Fried, clarinetist Jose Franch- Ballester, the Atrium String Quartet, and the piano quartet "Fourtissimo" with Ran Dank, Soyeon Lee and Vassilis Varvaresos with whom Mr. Rabinovich appeared at Carnegie's Zankel Hall in October 2010.

Mr. Rabinovich lives in New York City.

The Haifa Symphony Orchestra of Israel was founded in 1950 and in recent years has become the focal point of musical life in Haifa and the north of Israel. The Orchestra, which is the most significant musical institution in the north of Israel, has recently expanded its activities throughout the country. World Acclaimed Maestro Noam Sheriff, one of Israel's most versatile musicians, is the music director of the HSO.
