Robert Spano to Lead Atlanta Symphony in A TRIP AROUND THE WORLD, 9/20

Music Director Robert Spano will lead the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in "A Trip Around the World" on Friday, September 20, 2013, at 8:00 p.m. at Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheater.

This concert, which is part of the 40th anniversary Delta Classic Chastain concert series, will mark Mr. Spano's first performance at the legendary Atlanta concert venue.

The evening's program will feature an array of popular classical music from around the world, including: the Overture to Bernstein's Candide, the fourth movement of Rimsky-Korsakov's iconic Scheherazade, "Mambo" from Bernstein's West Side Story, Sibelius's Finlandia, Gershwin's An American in Paris, and Brahms's Hungarian Dance No. 1.
