Robert Spano Leads ASO in Performances of CARMINA BURANA, Now thru 11/16

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, under the direction of Music Director Robert Spano, will perform Orff's Carmina burana tonight and tomorrow, November 14-15, 2013, at 8:00 p.m.and November 16, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center. The work will also feature soprano Kiera Duffy, tenor Marco Panuccio, baritone Nmon Ford, and the Gwinnett Young Singers.

Israeli violinist Gil Shaham will join the Orchestra for Bartók's Violin Concerto. These performances will mark Mr. Shaham's ninth appearance with the Atlanta Symphony.
