Robert Bruce to Premiere THE SOUND SPA at Heliconian Hall

Composer/pianist Robert Bruce presents the premier program of "The Sound Spa" - a continuous 1-hour program of serene and deeply reflective piano music - on Monday, July 25, 2016 - 7:30 pm at Heliconian Hall, 35 Hazelton Avenue, Toronto.

A new and unique live music experience, the continuous set of specially-composed and specially-selected piano pieces presented in "The Sound Spa" has the artistic depth of traditional classical music while having the reflective and meditative purpose of "New Age" or ambient music. As listeners recognize the integrity and sincerity of this program, they can easily to use it as an opportunity to be serenely carried away and lifted to a more relaxed and objective state of consciousness, one in which they can put their concerns on pause, soften some of the rough edges in their world, and find a place of tranquility.

Unlike a traditional concert or recital, "The Sound Spa" is a live music experience wholly dedicated to the effect of the music (as opposed to the music itself) and the fascinating occurrence that can take place when music becomes a reliable doorway to an improved state of awareness.
