Richmond, Virginia 2013 marks the bicentennial of Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi's birth. In honor of this event, the Richmond Symphony is pleased to announce Verdi's Requiem, the second Altria Masterworks Concert of the 2013-2014 season!
This special concert will include both the Richmond Symphony with conductor Steven Smith and the Richmond Symphony Chorus with director Erin R. Freeman. Don't miss this spectacular chance to hear Soprano Kelley Nassief, Mezzo-soprano Jennifer Feinstein, Bass Kevin Deas and the rest of the 150-voice chorus perform with the symphony onSaturday, October 19 at 8pm and Sunday, October 20 at 3pm at the Carpenter Theatre at Richmond CenterStage.
